Three Great Books

These three books are by Bella Tan, better known to us as Tita Bella. Those of us who had kids in the parent-toddler program in the late nineties and early 2000s were fortunate to have learned what we know about Steiner Education from her.  Our children went through her capable, firm, yet loving hands. She wrote this book and her talented daughter, Katrina, illustrated it.  But it is really a Tan family effort and the love just shows through.  ”The Seed Babies” plus its Tagalog version, “Mga Munting Buto”, are perfect presents for children in your family who are far away, whose families would appreciate ways in which they can connect with their own language. “Ang Kuwento ni Higad, Suso at Langgam” is a beautiful and simple book on death that is perfect for children who may be experiencing a death in the family. It is a curative story that speaks to the child’s soul without intellectualization.  I highly recommend it. Please call Jake or Bella at 02-3715688 to place your order. You can be sure these books are appropriate for your little ones.

THANK YOU!

WOW! Thanks to all of you for dropping by, reading, and even posting a comment. I’ve been asked to do this by lots of moms over the years and have only now gathered the courage and well, the WILL.  My boys are also on vacation with their dad so it’s a good time to get organized so as not to go crazy missing them.

If you have related initiatives–toys, services, etc–please write in and I’ll be sure to post your details here. I’m still trying to work on ads but it doesn’t seem as simple to do that  here as it is to do it on Blogger so, abangan.  If you need a service or have a question or are looking for something specific, drop a line as well and I will see how I can post answers (if I have them) or connect you with the people you need to meet.

Thanks everyone!

HOW TO MAKE SENSE OF THIS BLOG

Hi Everyone!  Each topic above contains a description of the content of each page. I’m still finding my way through wordpress, so do pardon the gaps. I’m trying to organize everything I’ve written on the topic of Waldorf and parenting, so please bear with me. Posts will eventually find themselves categorized as pages, so if you’re looking for a post that has disappeared, you will most likely find it there. The pages will grow as I get organized. These were articles mostly written for The Philippine Star during my years as a lifestyle columnist. I resigned from that post last month and I’m now happily blogging instead. I hope you find the entries useful.
