These three books are by Bella Tan, better known to us as Tita Bella. Those of us who had kids in the parent-toddler program in the late nineties and early 2000s were fortunate to have learned what we know about Steiner Education from her. Our children went through her capable, firm, yet loving hands. She wrote this book and her talented daughter, Katrina, illustrated it. But it is really a Tan family effort and the love just shows through. ”The Seed Babies” plus its Tagalog version, “Mga Munting Buto”, are perfect presents for children in your family who are far away, whose families would appreciate ways in which they can connect with their own language. “Ang Kuwento ni Higad, Suso at Langgam” is a beautiful and simple book on death that is perfect for children who may be experiencing a death in the family.
